FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How does "open jump" work?
If you want to play on the Jungle Float without booking a private party, that is called "open jump". We are located at Skipper's on Lake Greenwood, 1085 Lakeshore Drive, Cross Hill, SC. Please come inside to view safety video and sign waiver (must have parent or guardian sign for you if under 18). If you'd like to save time, you can view safety video and sign waiver here: Jungle Float Waiver. We can't wait to meet you!

Is there an age limit?
No, but you must be able to swim. Children under 48' must be accompanied in the water by an adult, and non-strong swimmers may be asked to wear a life jacket by the lifeguard, otherwise, you, or a parent or guardian may decide the use of a life jacket. We strongly encourage you to do so.

What is your cancellation policy?
Customers will receive a full refund in the event of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If your party date is approaching and you sense bad weather, you can cancel your party and reschedule for another time. If you decide to keep the party, but weather is dangerous, WE will be forced to cancel the party and you can reschedule for another time with no penalty.

Do I need to know anything before I arrive?
Bring a towel & sunscreen. Observers may want to bring a lawn chair.

For your safety on the trampolines, we may ask you to do the "funky frog" fitness test. Don't worry, it's fun!

All participants will be required to have a life jacket when swimming to and from Jungle Float regardless of age. When aboard the Jungle Float, life jackets may be removed and stowed on bottom level. Life jackets are provided. A lifeguard may also request anyone to wear a life jacket, based on conditions.

Because there is a lot of activity on the boat, our lifeguards have been trained to be firm but friendly with rule enforcement.

Is alcohol permitted on the Jungle Float?
No food or drink will be allowed on Jungle Float.

Due to the high risk nature of the float, reckless behavior will not be tolerated. If anyone displays potential for dangerous behavior they will not be allowed on the float.

If you accidentally had a few too many, but still want to play, please come back another time.

Is there a weight limit?
Yes. Per manufacturer and insurance policy, individuals weighing more than 200 pounds will be prohibited from participating. We won't make you step on a scale, but please don't put us in a position that may cause embarassment for you.

What are your prices?
Coming to play for an hour? It's $15.00 per person. Want to stay all day? That's just $25. This includes lifeguard supervision, a life jacket and lots of fun!

Want to book a private party with Jungle Float?
Rates start at $275 per hour for up to 40 of your guests to play. We can do weekday parties at any time, and can bring the Jungle Float to your dock in many cases (need at least 12 feet of water, and must be below the lower tressel) We require a 2 hour minimum for parties we take the Jungle Float to you. For Saturday and Sunday parties we ask that they be done at Skippers only, and are done either before or after open jump hours. Please call 864-323-3795 to reserve your date.
